While your site is still on a shared server, you get the resources you need for your site to run effectively when you have the traffic demand heading to your domain.  This is partly facilitated by fewer sites being featured on the same server, however the servers themselves are likely to be more powerful than those use in shared hosting.
You will pay more for a virtual private server, but will feel much more in control of your site performance without having to pay the sum that you might have had you chosen a dedicated server.

Dedicated Hosting
This does what it says on the tin.  When you sign a dedicated hosting agreement, the whole server is yours, and the resources attached to it are solely focused on making your site as efficient and as high-performance as possible.If you are lacking in technical knowledge or expertise, we recommend paying a higher sum to enjoy a managed service, as doing it yourself can cause all manner of problems if you are unsure of what you are doing.

What If You Use Hybrid or Cloud Services?
Hybrid or cloud services are only slightly different to those we have explored so far, although they can have a range of benefits to website owners.

It is going to be another busy season here at JaguarPC. I spent a good part of the winter down in Atlanta planting more than a few new seeds for the company. The expansion at our data centers in Atlanta let us move into an entirely new cage area where my team and I installed new servers and cabinets which vastly expanded and improved our capabilities to better serve you. Many accounts are now migrated off of older servers and they are now operating on the new ones we set up throughout January and into February. I also made the decision to add an enormous amount of NAS (Network Attached Storage) which allowed JaguarPC to enable the newest version of our backup software across most of our fleet of servers.

While I was delighted to get the new servers installed and everyone moved onto the new systems, the new backup software has me just about as excited, if not more so. The new backup software version will vastly improve our restore methods and times while continuing to bring all of you restore times and services that are beyond the scope of anything that has ever been offered before now. This is the time of the year when I also have a chance to reflect on my many blessings and on what has been accomplished in the past year as well as take some time to look forward to how much more can be done in the next year.

It is also during this season of sharing that I take an extra moment to express my thanks to the tremendous support that all of our customers have continued to show. I could not have come this far without you. This past year we have made many upgrades to our systems and services and we will continue to rollout more improvements in the New Year. Our new client area is almost ready and it contains many new features to simplify and streamline your hosting experience with JaguarPC. I will continue to explore and make enhancements that will improve the performance of our systems and allow me to bring you the very best hosting experience possible. I am looking forward to another terrific year with all of the many customers that have enriched my years as a hosting provider beyond what I ever expected. I send you all my many thanks and I wish you all success on your hosting projects into the New Year and beyond.

I also want to thank the staff this season because they are a hard working and dedicated group of people who are instrumental to the continued success and growth of JaguarPC. You should also begin to notice that some recent changes in our support procedures have been implemented to create the best support team that JaguarPC has ever seen.  In the New Year our support will become even more responsive and we will continue to bring you new services and improvements to your hosting plans. We intend to continue to bring you a constantly evolving hosting solution which will keep pace with technological advances into the New Year and beyond.
